Career opportunity in the Big Coal Mining Company in Indonesia , PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) operates a coal mine in Sangatta East Kalimantan, seeking expressions of interest from qualified professionals interested in the following opportunity as :

Geologist - Pit (GEO-PIT) - Kalimantan Timur
Job Requirements:
  • Have 2 years experience in geology exploration/mining.
  • Good knowledge of ECS Minex and Mapinfo Software.
  • Good understanding of the quality and properties of the coal.
  • Graduate S1 in Geology from a recognized tertiary Institution
  • Extensive computer skills such as Project, Access and Excel.
  • Have driving license - SIM A and off road driving experience
  • Good Interpersonal and communications skills written and oral in booth Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Common sense basic bush/jungle survival skills.

Mining Engineer (ME) - Kalimantan Timur
Job Requirements:
  • Have 2 years experience in open cut mining operations ideally with exposure to truck and shovel operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of pit production activities and equipment, pit technical and pit maintenance process, procedures and activities.
  • Good knowledge of coal mining terminology.
  • Graduate S1 in Mining Engineering
  • Excellent planning, analytical and organization skill.
  • A very good understanding of MINEX mining software.
  • Good Interpersonal & communication skill in both bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Possess "Pengawas Operational Pratama" certification from Directorate General of Mining and Energy.
