Senior Geologist Manager (Coal mining)
Job Requirements :
- Have 20 years experience in Mining industry
- Have 15 year or more experiences in Coal Mining Industry
- Graduate S1 in Geological Engineering
- Advance to use GEOARC Mineral exploration system is a must
- Willing to be place in Balikpapan without any consequences
- Attended related training coal mining courses is an advantage
- must have leadership skills
- Fluent in English (written and speaking) and French is a must
- Computer literate and Microsoft office expert
- Available and willing to travel
- Having competency of Leadership: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling
- Strong leadership skill and people management
- able to work under pressure and multitask
Job description:
- Plant detailed exploration of the coal concession, including identifying outcrops.
- Able to calculate reserve estimation from borehole data.
- Plan borehole drilling patterns
- Lead and monitor a team of Junior Geologists and Surveyors in daily tasks, such as mapping, surveying and drilling
- Able to use GEOARC AutoCAD for mapping and reserve estimation
- Coordinate with Mining Department regarding future mining plans and pit limit markings
- Coordinate with Humas Department, regarding making of land of different owners
- Communicate with surveyor regarding topographic survey
