Qualification & Experience:
- Have 4 years previous exploration experience is must.
- Preparing and presenting data.
- Bachelor Degree S1 in Geology
- Initiative in all aspects of the profession.
- Some basic understanding of the quality and properties of the coal and how to maintain filing systems.
- Basic software skills in areas such as spreadsheet and word processor .
- Previous exploration experience would be of benefit.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers and analyses geological information and supervises the drilling programme and all other major geological field exploration so that short to long term planning for the deposit is based on an accurate geological model. Ensures that all the data (sample record and analyses, lithology, downhole geophysics and field geology) is collected, reconciled and accurately entered to the database.
SENIOR GEOLOGIST - Kalimantan Timur
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Geology
- Previous exploration experience (min 6 years) is must.
- Able to be placed at Mine Site.
- Initiative in all aspects of the profession.
- Good understanding of the quality and properties of the coal.
- Software skills in areas such as spreadsheet and word processor.
- Strong working knowledge of software mining and downhole geophysical log interpretation.
- Ability to implement and control safety procedures on all exploration areas.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesian.
- Good understanding of laboratory and sampling methods.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises Mine Geology and analyse geological information and supervise all drilling and exploration programmes that are required for planning engineers to enable realistic medium and long term planning. Design exploration programmes that conform with the objectives of Mine Geology and the immediate demands of the production pits. Develop a longer term strategy to investigate the geological history of the deposit and to use this knowledge in the exploration of other areas.
