SPECIALIST - GEOTECHNICAL
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years of sound geotechnical engineering experience in geotechnical investigation, analysis and design in both underground and open pit hard rock mines. Experience in strata monitoring and ground support design and mining and numerical modeling software e.g. MAP3D, PHASE2, EXAMINE3D is essential.
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or Mining Engineering
Experience: 5 to 10 years in Underground mine planning.
SPECIALIST - PASTE FILLING OPERATIONS
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: 5 to 10 years in Underground mine planning.
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years of sound backfill engineering experience along with significant knowledge of mine paste fill systems. Exposure to laying, operation & maintenance of fill pipe reticulation, paste filling preparations and managing backfill operations to meet production targets are highly desirable.
SPECIALIST - MINE PLANNING
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mining Engineering
Have 5 -10 years experience in Underground mine planning.
The successful applicant will have more than 5 years of sound mining engineering experience in underground metalliferous mines. In addition, experience in all aspects of preparing short, medium and long term plans using computer aided mine planning packages such as Datamine, Vulcan, Mine 2-4D and EPS is essential. Experience with a wide variety of mining methods and demonstrated expertise in mine planning including mine design, scheduling is essential. Previous exposure to feasibility studies is highly desirable.
SPECIALIST - MINE DEVELOPMENT
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mining Engineering
Have 5 -10 years experience in Underground mining.
The successful applicant will have more than 5 years of sound mining engineering experience in mechanized underground metalliferous mines including experience in mechanized vertical and horizontal development. In addition, exposure to operational improvement projects to improve pull, reduce cycle time and improve productivity is highly desirable.
SPECIALIST - MINE PRODUCTION
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mining Engineering
Have 5 -10 years experience in Underground mining.
The successful applicant will have more than 5 years of sound mining engineering experience in mechanized underground metalliferous mines. In addition, proven track record of ensuring the delivery of production targets and a working knowledge of trackless mining with LPDTs and LHDs is essential.
