Senior Exploration Geologist
Qualification:
Have 10-15 years relevant mineral exploration/mining experience
Computer literacy with experience in MapInfo and Micromine
or similar software
A willingness to be a team player with a flexible and
dynamic approach to the working environment
B.Sc (Hons) in geology or equivalent
A commitment to safety and the environment
Cultural understanding and an ability to work efficiently
with the local workforce,
English language verbal and written proficiency
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Follow up of regional exploration targets including the
design, implementation and management of exploration programs to the advanced
drilling stage
Preparation of exploration budgets
Preparation of geological reports on a timely basis
Management of exploration camps of up to 100 personnel
Training and mentoring of expatriate and Laos staff
Effective application of the company’s sustainability
policies and procedures
