SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Have 10 years industry experience, minimum 5 years directly in drilling engineering.
- Strong technical skills both in well construction design and operations.
- Functional working knowledge of other associated disciplines.
- Proven leadership / supervisory ability, strong interpersonal skills including work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor Degree S1 in petroleum engineering
- Professional membership in good standing.
- Team building skills.
- Sound organizational and project management skills.
- Based in Jakarta Raya
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily drilling performance and contribute to operational decisions.
- Monitor costs, prepare reports, and ensure the well files are maintained.
- Make technical decisions with respect to drilling related services.
- Responsible for managing the efforts of technical staff and contractors.
- Perform engineering and project management processes to effectively design, execute and evaluate well construction.
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.
- Provide technical support into drilling cost estimates.
- Prepare the Drilling Schedules and provide input into the Exploration / Delineation Program Schedule.
- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of well consumables.
- Ensure BPMIGAS permits and authorization documentation is submitted.
- Communicate with BPMIGAS regarding codes, drilling regulations and budgets.
- Conduct drilling optimization studies and development drilling plans.
- Work with reservoir and production engineers to ensure data acquisition objectives are achieved.
- Monitor and review the drilling aspects of the non-operated assets and recommend strategic positions on well construction matters.
