As part of an expansion of MeKinsey s service to our energy and materials clients, we are looking for sector dedicated consultants, experts and research & information professionals in the aforesaid industries to be based in Australia, India or Southeast Asia.
Successful candidates will become industry specialists on MeKinsey s client service teams, applying their expertise to directly advise clients and/or provide expert support to a broad group of client service teams. In ‘addition to deepening one s industry expertise, the role provides successful candidates with an unrivalled opportunity to develop distinctive functional knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Have 3 years of experience at a leading company, or professional services firm in the Petroleum, Natural Gas, Electricity, Chemicals, Metals & Mining or Pulp and Paper related industries
- High level of energy, strong commercial orientation, preference for teamwork, and excellent communication skills in English and a local language preferred (Mandarin, Bahasa, Malay, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese and Hindi)
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, chemicals, metallurgy, geology, geophysics or physics from reputable university. A post-graduate degree (particularly an MBA) from an internationally recognized academic institution is a plus
