Sr. PROCESS ENGINEER - DKI Jakarta
Qualification & Experience:

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, with at least 10 years of process design and operation, experience in oil and gas facilities or petrochemical plant with most of this time is in gas conditioning and processing.
  • Strong technical/engineering skills with a working knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus general understanding of other discipline activities.
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of Process Engineering tools/ Process Simulators and Computer models, including HYSYS, PIPESIM, and equipment rating programs.
  • Experience with Basics of Design, Process Design & Safety System Design, Engineering Drawings, Gas & Oil
  • Handling/Processing, Heat Transfer & Rotating Equipment, Dew Point Unit (DPU) and Utility system.
  • Basic knowledge of process chemistry, including chemical treatment.
  • Experience with gas turbines, process control & control system concepts, pigging planning and commissioning or start-up process is highly desirable.
  • Experience on Drafting of Operating Instructions/ Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Good knowledge on Process Safety Management.
  • Experience with Process Evaluations/ analysis.
  • SAP experience or similar computer based system.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skill to interact with diverse work force, vendors and organizations
  • Strong team player with proactive approach to decision making process.
  • Ability to work under diverse cultures and nationality.
  • Basic understanding of fabrication and installation techniques for piping and structural work
  • Basic understanding for piping and pressure vessel codes and specification

Job Description and Responsibilities:
BASIC PURPOSE
  • Sr. Process Engineer is responsible for the overall process stability as per the plant design intended through providing Process Engineering expertise, guidance and assistance to field operations in all matters relating to facility engineering design and operability issues, with a strong emphasis on value adding activities and risk minimization;
  • Responsible to provide innovation for plant production optimization;
  • Responsible to provide technical assistance, troubleshooting efforts and leading process optimization efforts for gas compression system, gas-oil separation, liquid handling and pigging operation, dew point unit, etc;
  • Responsible to provide daily technical assistance and support include leading the Root Cause Analysis techniques and implement solutions to reduce repetitive failures.

NATURE AND SCOPE
  • Provide Process Engineering support to Area Field Engineer and Operation team for day to day operation.
  • Diagnose process problems in the respective facilities, seek opportunity to reduce operating cost, increase production and conserve energy.
  • Participate in regular operation production metrics review and other relevant downtime investigation meeting.
  • Champion process assessments of facility changes through the Management of Change (MoC) process
  • Able to develop complex HYSYS model and simulation
  • Perform heat transfer, piping hydraulic, multi-phase flow, hydraulic flash and PVT calculations.
  • Develop Front End Loading (FEL) for any expansion/ modification project to improve plant performance.
  • Participate and contribute in all aspects of the process/ facilities design for all phases of offshore asset Project. This includes concept optimization, development of process simulations, Process Flow Diagram (PFD), P&ID, equipment/line sizing, SAFE charts, and all other process documentation required by other engineering disciplines. This also includes specification, purchase, testing, installation, commissioning and start-up of all process equipment and systems.
  • Participate in offshore project commissioning, start-up, operational trouble-shooting, and project close-out.
  • Able to lead failure analysis through Root Cause Investigation (RCA) process and develop mitigation plans to reduce repetitive failure.

TECHNICAL DATA ANALYST

  • The Data Analyst position is responsible for the management of high quality GGRE / subsurface data in COPI.
  • The Data Analyst is the Single Point of Contact for all GGRE data requests/questions from assigned asset.
  • The Data Analyst’s main focus is to provide the right data to the right person at the right time in a cost effective manner so that the business’ staff can be freed to focus on the creation of value and knowledge from the data.
  • University degree either in Information Technology / Computer Science or Geoscience   
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience
  • In depth working knowledge of data management concepts, standards, practices, tools and technologies
  • In depth working knowledge of GGRE workflows, technical data and applications
  • In depth knowledge of unix
  • In depth knowledge of R5000 and other GG project databases
  • Good knowledge of GGRE applications from  Landmark, Schlumberger, Paradigm, and other major vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate at all levels (oral/written)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Team player that can work with minimum supervision
  • Good problem solver
  • Good working knowledge of the Upstream businesses
  • Understands data strategies, formats, issues and needs for multiple data types
