TEAM LEAD OIL AND GAS TEAM
Qualification & Experience:
- Min of a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or Geoscience with a minimum of 10 years experience in this function
- Proven track record in field optimization projects
- Proven track record in field development projects
- Excellent communication skills are critical the successful Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all major stakeholders, including the ConocoPhillips Indonesia Leadership Team, functional management, partners and government agencies.
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Strong execution skills
BASIC PURPOSES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- This position serves as the main liaison to the ConocoPhillips Optimization Network of Excellence.
- This position supervises three multidisciplinary teams (Geologists, Geophysicists and Reservoir Engineers) consisting of 5 professionals in total in the ConocoPhillips Onshore Exploration and Exploitation organization. The candidate will be responsible for the Belida subsurface team. The candidate will also be a leading member of the integrated development/asset teams and will work closely with the Ventures, Well Operations and the Project organizations.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
The job has two main functions:
- Manage all subsurface groups’ activities for the mature Belida oil and gas field, Block B South Natuna, Indonesia. The field is currently on production with potential further drilling and development opportunities remaining and production optimization. The incumbent will lead his/her team in the planning and execution of the optimal further development of the field.
- Accountable for Belida oil and gas integrated asset management optimization particularly from subsurface point of view. The objective is to finalize Belida new reservoir simulation model for development opportunity and to evaluate options and recommend strategies for the remaining life of Belida production and facilities.
- Manage and coordinate all Belida mature oil field with the main focus to optimize production and ensure maximum return on the asset.
- An accountable asset is the Belida Block B Psc. The organizational team’s members under this position are GGRE.
- Belida responsibilities include:
- Characterization and implementation of all exploitation opportunities related to the Belida oil and gas assets. (Subsurface study, New drills, sidetracks, workovers, recompletions and full system optimization).
- Lead the Western Hub compression and fule optimization project to optimize the gas production rates and reserves from Belida.
- Expected program between 2013 -2015 is to build oil and gas inventory that will include the possibility to drill of 2 - 5 wells at an expected cost of US $ 30 MM - US $ 75 MM).
