SENIOR COMPLETIONS ENGINEER
Qualification & Experience:
- Having more 5 years experience working as completions engineer for drilling activity within oil & gas industry.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skill both in Indonesia and English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
- Have proven engineering and planning abilities.
- Able to operate drilling and completion applications and other related software.
- Previous experience in dealing with BPMIGAS would be advantageous.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- This position will be reporting to the Drilling Manager.
- This position is based in Jakarta, and major responsibilities will include engineering, designing and preparation of programs for drilling and completion activities, ensuring that all engineering and planning are performed in a structured manner that complies with Santos management, operations and safety system. Other major responsibility would be monitoring rig operations and provide technical and engineering support.
- This position is also responsible but not limited to provide assistance for preparation of budgetary and detailed cost estimates for drilling and completion operations, to coordinate, promote, monitor and recommend technology advancements that improve safety and operational performance and wellbore quality.
- The holder of this position is expected to perform regular rig visits and ideally supervise rig completion operations.
