MINING SUPERVISOR - PUMPS AND DEWATERING (PKM – E0168 Mining Dayworks Supervisor)
Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience in pump maintenance is desirable
  • Previous experience in the operations of dewatering and pumping systems
  • Bachelor Degree S1 in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is desirable
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Good English communication both written and oral
  • Be committed to supporting the growth of National employees

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the team in the daily operations of dewatering activities
  • Ensure that safe work procedures are followed
  • Train staff in the operations of the pumping systems and ensure continuous operations during wet season
  • Work with the maintenance team in relation to any breakdown issues with plant
  • Ensure all personnel are fully authorised and competent to operate all plant and units

SENIOR MINE GEOLOGIST (PKM-E0109 Senior Mine Geologist)
Qualification & Experience:
  • Considerable experience in mine geology, with strong skills in grade control
  • Good experience and understanding of Surpac, Datamine or similar mining software package
  • Degree qualification in geosciences
  • Strong modelling, analytical and interpretation skills
  • Previous experience leading a technical team, with a commitment to developing our National employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English)
  • Unwavering commitment to safety

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • Grade control program implementation and data migration
  • Quality assurance – sampling and assay data management and control of ore mined
  • Ore and waste block design
  • Provide input into mine planning and mining production requirements
  • Report on drilling and grade control performance
  • Perform and collate geological mapping
  • Ore loss and dilution control studies and bulk density studies
  • Routine reconciliation of grade control and ore control against reserves and processing outcomes
  • Providing geological and operational training and leadership to geologists and geotechnicians

CAPITAL ACCOUNTANT (4mth contract) – (BHX – E0066 Capital Accountant)
Qualification & Experience:
  • Have 3 years experience in fixed asset management
  • Experience in mining, construction or other heavy industry is preferred
  • Bachelor Degree level qualification in accounting or finance
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English
  • Good computer skills with prior experience using Microsoft products essential and prior exposure to ERP systems (Pronto preferred)

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • Detailed interrogation of project costs to establish the Ban Houayxai fixed asset register
  • Register all fixed asset in Pronto system and ensure the accuracy of the data
  • Preparation of monthly capital report
  • Set up depreciation schedule in Pronto  system to ensure efficient posting of monthly depreciation
  • Compliance with all Phu Bia mining standard policies and procedures
