Scheduler (Jakarta Raya)

Qualification Experience :

  • Have more 7-10 years directly relevant industrial experience with a high standard of English (written and spoken).Formal education in work planning, analysis of effectiveness, use of maintenance management systems, project cost & schedule control systems, plus an engineering discipline professional qualification at degree level.
  • Previous work experience shall have included:
  • Planning Maintenance work utilizing a proprietary CMMS system
  • Commissioning of new plant and equipment, understanding the activities that are involved, preferably in a hydrocarbons environment
  • Optimizing and improving work by analysis and creation of change to bring about improvements Project exposure to minor projects and modifications including the planning and scheduling and cost control of these.
  • Maintaining quality records for work done including costs and resources used. Ideally this experience should have been gained both a maintenance and a project environment
  • Interface management between Operations, Engineering, Projects, Contractors, and Subcontractors

KEY OBJECTIVES
Development, implementation and socialization of fit-for-purpose planning processes and tools necessary to support the integrated planning function in the onshore and offshore organization - All scheduled activities are planned and work orders approved
Ensure pre-job preparation are complete :
1.Ensure that material and tools needed will be on site prior to execution
2.Verify logistic needs
3.Ensure equipment is available when required
4.Ensure all fields on the work order are populated

Facilitate the work request meeting (with participation of Team Leader) and ensure:
1.Work Requests are approved or cancelled
2.Priority ratings and work type are accurate
3.The craft responsible for work order is assigned
4.Equipment identification is accurate
5.Dates are assigned to activities
6.Review manpower availability and assign individuals to activities

Coordinate and schedule work with all crafts to minimize equipment downtime
Optimization sequence and duration of tasks (minor project, modifications, shutdowns, etc) including to ensure tasks linked appropriately and resolve the conflict
Schedule and assign personnel to the work orders including select a quantity of work orders to accommodate available resources
Develop and manage weekly schedule and communicate full schedule to all team leaders, FMT (Field Management Team) members including technicians and operators for following week
Utilize CMMS software to ensure a work order is written and all tracking is accomplished
Coach all offshore CMMS users including Field Management Team members to develop competency in CMMS application with short and medium term planning and analysis of work execution efficiencies

PRICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Preparation of the short and medium term plans activity for the offshore facilities
In collaboration with the relevant Field Management Team supervisors, definition of the weekly work programs for offshore maintenance, production, project, safety, deck and engine room teams
Identification and analysis of deviations in actual work execution from plan (slippage) and continuous improvement of the planning function and Field Management Team skills to improve the efficiency of work execution
Analysis of work history records to identify opportunities to improve planned maintenance effectiveness through elimination of unnecessary work, identification and resolution of incomplete maintenance plans and optimization of maintenance strategies to make the best possible use of maintenance resources
Coaching and development of all Field Management Team members in planning functions and techniques necessary for them to understand contribute effectively and eventually take responsibility for the preparation and maintenance of the short and medium term plan
Preparation and analysis of regular historical data reports on planned maintenance, corrective maintenance, project execution and shutdown execution activities to identify backlogs, delays, partial–completion or non-completion of planned activities and work with the relevant supervisors to eliminate of minimize the problems identified
Auditing and quality control of the work orders raised, task instructions, planned maintenance instructions and schedules, and historical records entered into CMMS
Close communication with Field Management Team members, offshore contractors, onshore project and support teams and CPL to coordinate, track and expedite the preparation of work packs, delivery of materials, assignment of resources, arrangement of logistics, optimization of consumables etc from all relevant personnel
In collaboration with the relevant Field Management Team members, to critically review all plans and work packs prepared by contractors, projects and support teams to ensure that they are realistic, complete, accurate and in the correct format for incorporation into the overall plan
Analysis of historical data archives to identify opportunities for improvement in the effectiveness and / or efficiency of maintenance strategies, schedules or work execution

KEY AUTHORITIES
Preparation of weekly and medium term (35 Days) plans for the offshore facilities
Preparation of shutdown and project plans for the offshore facilities
In collaboration with the relevant supervisors, definition of the weekly work programs for each of the offshore departments
Tracking and reporting of work execution progress against plans
Preparation and analysis of historical data to recommend changes to work planning and execution processes for consideration by the HOFO, PIC and FMT (Field Management Team)

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that time and resources are allocated for risk assessments in preparation of plans and work programs
Monitors and expedites completion of HAZOPS, JRAs, and other risk assessment activities required as part of the pre-job planning for shutdowns, project and maintenance activities
Actively participates in facility HSE meetings, emergency exercises and drills
Participates in toolbox meetings and JRAs as required
Actively reports all accidents, near misses, and hazards.
Supports and contributes to achievement of Production Department HSE Objectives
Qualification:
Must have performed similar roles in a maintenance or project environment having exposure to both maintenance and projects during his career
Candidate must have worked with international contractors and suppliers in the oil & gas sector
Must be familiar with computerized maintenance and work planning systems gained through using JD Edwards, DataStream, Maximo or SAP CMMS systems and also be skilled at using one or more of the proprietary planning packages such as Primavera, and/or Microsoft Project. Conversant with typical database systems such as MS Access, SQL server or Oracle
